2025 CBPTA Athletic Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS OUTLINED BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION.
The Centennial High School Boosters PTA athletic scholarship is a one-time $500 grant awarded to two athletes at Centennial High School.
1. Academic Record: The applicant must have a 2.5 or higher cumulative grade point average at the time of application.
2. Athletic Performance: The applicant must have:
● Obtained at least one varsity letter
● Participated in athletics at Centennial during their senior year
3. Leadership: The applicant should have participated in extracurricular activities at Centennial outside of athletics, as well as community-related activities.
4. Citizenship: The applicant must be cooperative, honest, courteous, and must demonstrate good character and sportsmanship.
5. The applicant must be a senior at Centennial High School.
6. The applicant must demonstrate enrollment in an accredited two- or four-year college or university; certification, career, or technical program; or graduate program in the United States, either full- or part-time prior to receipt of award.
7. The applicant must submit the attached Athletic Scholarship Application Form, including a short (500 words) essay on the topic “How participation in athletics at Centennial has enhanced my education.”
8. The applicant must have two recommendations. One must be from a member of the Centennial athletic department (coach). The second should be from someone outside the athletic department.

2025 CBPTA Career-Tech Education Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS OUTLINED BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION.
The Centennial High School Boosters PTA Career Technical Education Scholarship is a one-time $500 grant awarded to each of two qualified students who plan to further their education after high school.
1. Centennial student who is enrolled at one of the Career-Technical Centers.
2. Career-Technical Center Program GPA of at least 2.5. Please attach career center grade card.
3. Leadership: Evidence of involvement in at least 2 activities either at Centennial or in the community.
4. Citizenship: The applicant must be cooperative, honest, courteous, and must demonstrate good character.
5. The applicant must have two recommendations. One must be from a teacher or mentor from the CTE Program. The second should be from outside the Career-Technical Center; it can be from a Centennial teacher or staff member, or from someone outside of Centennial.
6. The applicant must demonstrate enrollment in an accredited two- or four-year college or university; certification, career, or technical program; or graduate program in the United States, either full- or part-time prior to receipt of award.
7. The applicant must submit the attached Scholarship Application Form, including a short (500 words) essay: How has the Career-Technical Education Program enhanced your education and shape your career path?

2025 Fine & Performing Arts Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS OUTLINED BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION.
The Centennial High School Boosters PTA Performing Arts & Visual Arts scholarship is a one-time $500 grant awarded to each of two qualified students who plan to study or participate in performing or visual arts after graduation. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to pursue a major or minor in performing arts or visual arts in college.
1. Academic Record: The applicant must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average at the time of application.
2. Participation in Performing Arts or Visual Arts (instrumental music, vocal music, theatre, dance or any visual art): The applicant must meet the following:
● Participated for at least two years in Centennial’s performing arts or visual arts programs
● Participated in performing arts or visual arts at Centennial during their senior year
● Plans to participate in performing or visual arts or to further education thereof in college
3. Leadership: The applicant should have participated in extracurricular activities at Centennial outside of performing arts or visual arts, as well as community-related activities.
4. Citizenship: The applicant must be cooperative, honest, courteous, and must demonstrate good character.
5. The applicant must be a senior at Centennial High School.
6. The applicant must demonstrate enrollment in an accredited two- or four-year college or university; certification, career, or technical program; or graduate program in the United States, either full- or part-time prior to receipt of award.
7. The applicant must submit the attached Performing Arts & Visual Arts Scholarship Application Form, including a short (500 words) essay: How have the performing or visual arts shaped you and your plans for your future?”
8. The applicant must have two recommendations. One must be from a member of the Centennial performing arts or visual arts faculty. The second should be from outside the performing arts and visual arts faculty; it can be from a Centennial teacher or staff member, or from someone outside of Centennial.

2025 Platz-Nasbe Scholarship
ELIGIBILITY: The scholarship will be awarded based on the following criteria. PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE MATERIALS OUTLINED BELOW BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION.
This one time $500 scholarship began as a donation by Camille Nasbe, a parent of a Centennial High School graduate, in honor of Matthew and Joan Platz. Matthew and Joan Platz have continued to fund this scholarship. It will be awarded in Spring 2024 to a graduating senior who will pursue further education in a field related to math or science.
✰ Graduating Senior enrolling in a four-year post-secondary institution and pursuing a field related to math or science
✰ Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
✰ Evidence of involvement in at least two activities either here at Centennial or in the community
✰ Evidence of leadership
✰ Essay (500 words) on the topic “What I Hope to Achieve in My Higher Education”
✰ Two letters of recommendation which include your accomplishments in math and/or science
